With the inspiration, guidance and encouragement from Late Shri. Shrikrishna (Manu Kaka) Pandit (Washington, USA) and with the intense and undeterred desire to promote Indian arts, culture and national awareness, UTTUNG SANSKRUTIK PARIWAR was founded on 5th November 1994 by Shri. Madhav Khadilkar. Since it's inception, Uttung Sanskrutik Pariawar has continuously carried out charitable activities for the promotion of arts, culture and national awareness. Uttung has produced and organized nearly 150 events and presented them FREE OF CHARGE to the art and culture loving people of Mumbai, Thane and Pune.

The aims and objects of the trust at a glance :
- To create National and Cultural Awareness.
- Offer stage to the upcoming talented young artists.
- Felicitate the Great Masters of Indian Music, Stage Orators, Writers, Poets and Traditional Folk Artists.
- Help needy students.
- Offer medical and other help to poor and people suffering from natural calamities.
Uttung Sanskrutik Pariwar is proud to mention that it has brought all the aims and objects into practice since 1994 by raising funds from institutions, donors and the arts, culture and theatre loving common people.
Every year, Uttung presents six events in Vile Parle, Mumbai and two in Thane and gives away felicitations worth Rs. 50,000/- during the annual Uttung celebration which is attended by more than 2000 people.
To reach the goal mentioned in our aims and objects, Uttung has carried out following charitable activities through nearly 150 events since 1994.
- Given stage to over 150 young artists in the field of Traditional Arts such as Dance, Drama, Music, Photography, Bhajan, Keertan etc.
- Felicitated more than 200 Master Artists in the field of Classical Music, Natya Sangeet, Drama Artists, Folk Artists, Tamasha-Lawani Dancers, Orators, Writers, Poets and so on.
- Presented more than 800 Stage Artists in various cultural programs.
- For promotion of folk music, organized multi-state folk art events.
- Photographic exhibition on Andamaan and 350 Freedom Fighters to promote awareness about our freedom fighters.
- For National Awareness, celebrated Centenary year of "VANDE MATARAM" and Veer Savarkar's "JAYOSTUTE SHREE MAHANMANGALE" with a group of 60 artists in both the shows.
- Celebrated 125th year of Marathi SANGEET NATAK TRADITION by felicitating 10 great Artists with a group of 40 young stage Artists to promote awareness about our culture and traditions.
- Celebrated 150 years of INDIAN REBELLION of 1857 by writing, Directing and Producing a play "SAMAR SWATANTRYACHE" and paid homage to the revolutionary Freedom Fighters of India.
- Gave stage to young Artist from interiors of Maharashtra by organizing three shows of "GEET RAMAYAN" in Mumbai, performed by a group of 40 students, aged 8 to 18 years.
- Organized lectures of great orators like Shri. Ram Shevalkar and Prof. Yashwant Pathak.
- Presented artists like Ram Kadam & great folk artist Yamunabai Waikar on stage.
- Helped around 20 needy students and 20 medically unfit patients by providing funds. Also helped needy poor people who suffered during various calamities in Mumbai.
- Initiated the "CHAITRA PADAVA SPHOORTI YATRA" of 10,000 people in Vile Parle.
- Organized Marathi Kavi Sammelans in Thane & Mumbai.
- Organized Lecture-Demo on classical music of pt. Gokulotsava for 3 days.
